Tips on how to send your stems.
First before you record any vocals make sure you are recording at the same BPM as your instrumental or session.
After you have finished recording your vocals and you are happy with them highlight your whole song or session, solo and then bounce your vocals individually. You should have big breaks of silence in each audio stem as seen above. This helps keep all your stems in time I know this may seem tedious but your producer will love you for it and it makes you as an artist more pleasant and professional to work with...it's a win win!!
Next, when you save your files make sure they are saved as WAV files and have clear concise naming of all your individual stems, for example SHORTY MIC - HERE EM TALKING - VERSE - 96BPM. Then put them all in a folder zip that bad boy up and you are ready to send them to me where I do the rest of the work so you don't have to and make your song come alive as it truly deserves.
